To find out when
and where they’ll be playing next, be sure to check out
the Tour page. Not only are all their concert
dates listed, but what’s also cool is that there are links
provided for ticket purchases for those concerts as well. Another
notable addition is the list of reviews provided
about The Hollies concerts. Reviews by the mainstream press
as well as regular concert attendees offer some interesting
insight. The Music Archive page is basically
a discography of the entire Hollies music catalogue. The page
is based on UK releases and is arranged into three categories,
Singles, Extended Plays (EP’s), and Albums. These are
further sub-categorized by date released, or by chart position.
If you wish, you can also explore The Hollies music by using
the complete A-Z song list link provided. With
all the great tunes that the Hollies recorded, it would be nice
if some MP3 samples were available. They do have all the song
lyrics listed, which is good, and perhaps later some music samples
will be added as well. We think that would be a perfect addition.
There is an Image Gallery page, but at the
time of this review, it was being “re-built” and
would return shortly. The next page is the Information/Store
page. Upon entering, the visitor is given seven self
explanatory choices which are as follows:
1. A frequently asked questions page.
2. Band profiles for current members page.
3. Band profiles for past members page.
4. Band profiles for various players page.
5. The Hollies Family Tree page.
6. An article from Goldmine Magazine page
7. A press release page.
I think big fans of the Hollies will really love the Family
Tree page. It’s a fun little item and we think
worth checking out. Also, the article from Goldmine
Magazine is basically a band biography full of information
and some nice photos. It too is worth a look. There is a Link
page and as you would expect, the Hollies have links
to friends, associates and so on. If you’re interested
in buying some Hollies goodies, then go to the Merchandise page.
Although there aren’t too many items available, there
are a few tasty treats. next>>
