This month’s featured site is www.thebeatles.com the Beatles official web site. The Beatles are probably among the most recognizable, influential, and musically prolithic rock groups of all time. Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, would come from the little town of Liverpool England, and would soon go on to captivate the world. It’s an interesting side note but, Ringo was not the group’s original drummer. A fellow by the name of Pete Best started out with the Beatles, but he was soon replaced just before the Lads hit it big. When they hit, brother they exploded, in fact their arrival is often described as the (British) invasion. They brought with them such a new and unique sound and truly changed the musical landscape for the better. Some of the best well known songs of this modern era were written and performed by the Beatles. Their accomplishments over the span of their career are legendary, enough to write an entire book about. However, our focus is not to write a biography about The Beatles, but to take a look at their web site. For us it has and always will be, all about The Beatles music. Among our favorite tunes are; “Help”, “Another Girl" to “Eleanor Rigby”, and “Blackbird”. Those awesome songs and so many others are the reasons why we admire the Beatles so much, and why we take great pleasure in featuring their web site this month.
