For
anyone not familiar with Brian Wilson or his work, we encourage
you to visit his official website, www.brianwilson.com,
which is regularly updated with concert dates, upcoming releases,
news, etc. The Biography page is very informative,
and details the now famous story of how the Beach Boys first got
started on a Labor Day weekend in 1961 through Brian’s most
recent work. If you’ve missed out on any of Brian’s
music, check out the Discography page where all
of Brian’s solo efforts are listed in chronological order,
and include song titles and album cover art. The News
and Tour sections contain all the latest news
on Brian, what he’s up to, what music is in the works, and
any upcoming scheduled concert dates. I might add that this page,
like the rest of brianwilson.com, is always kept up to date and
is the best way to stay up to date on Brian. The Message
Board is yet another great source of information on brianwilson.com,
and the board stays very active. It’s not unusual for members
of Brian’s band to post a message, and Brian himself
will even take time out of his schedule to post and chat with
his fans from time to time which is quite a thrill. In addition,
the Media section contains behind the scenes
video footage of recording sessions, exclusive interviews with
Brian, photos and music released for brianwilson.com fans, and
everything in between. Of course, there’s also an online
Store which is stocked with music, books, posters, DVD’s,
clothing, and basically anything a Brian Wilson fan might be looking
for. If it’s available, this is probably the best place
to find it. There are a lot of web sites out there, but only a
handful as well designed, user friendly, active and regularly
updated, and just fun to visit as www.brianwilson.com.
Like Brian’s music, it’s clear he wanted something
special for his fans when he had this website designed, so hats
off to the Brian and the folk at designsite.com
